STRETCHERS
The Loma™ Machine's Stretchers, with their hydraulic pump system, form a self-contained installation. The machine bed is built from structural steel components welded into a frame construction designed to withstand the stresses occurring during the operation of the machine without relying on heavy foundations. The length of the bed calls for several sections, each up to 30 ft. (9150mm) long, which are firmly connected by heavy flange joints. On the tail stock section, the machined bed is fitted with rails on which the grip head carrier moves.
The hydraulic oil pump serving the stretcher is a bidirectional, variable-delivery and piston-type pump. The De-twisting Hydraulic Motor is controlled by a double solenoid, three-position directional valve. The De-twisting Pump is a balanced vane-type pump and has its own motor drive. The whole stretcher is fully automated and controlled with advanced PLC systems.
